Additionally,
she suggested that the Commission meet next month at 6:30 p.m. at Silver Point Park prior to the
regular Parks Commission meeting to review items that need to be addressed. Specifically, she
suggested items for discussion to be the grand opening, hockey and figure skating rinks, lighting,
and shelter. She asked Public Works Director Jay Hartman to provide additional examples of
possible shelters.

Mr. Hartman stated-that it is anticipated that by the next Parks Commission meeting in April, that
Todd Hubmer, WSB & Associates, would address the Commission about the costs involved with
security and hockey lighting, a pavilion and other matters.

Jindra reminded the Commission that a date for the grand opening of April 27 had previously
been considered, but the Commission had been advised by Mr. Hubmer to wait until on or after
May 15, 2000.
In this respect, various dates were discussed, in particular May 11 or May 18. It was agreed that
. 19 School Board Representative Denise Dunn would discuss both dates with the School Board to
determine if there were any conflicts with activities for either of the suggested days.
VII.
