(Employees <br /> often take greater pride in their work if tasks can be <br /> streamlined. <br /> 8) Better tracking of vacation, sick leave and comp-time <br /> hours for all employees (This information will appear <br /> on every paycheck) . <br /> 9) Back-up for law enforcement software (Current leaders <br /> package is supported by a ma and pa organization. The <br /> software vendor selected can fill this void if it <br /> occurs) . <br /> 10) Will save St. Anthony $35,250 over the next 5 years. <br /> Disadvantages to processing in-house: <br /> 1) The first year capital outlay expenditure requires the <br /> City to spend money to save money. <br /> 2) Their will be less flexibility and greater demands on <br /> staff to process the information. (For example: <br /> Vacations and Comp-time off will have to be planned <br /> around critical processing periods. The payroll clerk <br /> could not be gone if it was a week to process payroll, <br /> etc. ) <br /> • <br />
