.J , <br /> 1 In his letter, Mr. Busitzky had reported the valuation of the property <br /> 2 at 2504 St. Anthony Boulevard had been increased $5,600.00 from <br /> 3 $108, 200.00 to $113,800.00 following. a reappraisal . Valuations for six <br /> 4 properties had been reduced, and no changes had been made for six <br /> 5 properties following the County's re-evaluations. Joseph Brinkman one <br /> 6 of the property owners who had approached Mr. Becken after the April <br /> 7 11th Board of Review, had requested a review which the appraisers had <br /> 8 been unable to conduct because they had been unable to contact the <br /> 9 property owner for an appointment .prior to the april 25th meeting. The <br /> 10 Assessors Office representative indicated that the Brinkmans, even <br /> 11 though they were not present that evening, retained the right to appeal <br /> 12 their valuations before the Hennepin County Board of Equalization as did <br /> 13 all property owners who had requested reviews up until the adjournment <br /> 14 of the April 25th Board of Review. Councilmember Enrooth said he knew <br /> 15 the Brinkmans had left the City unexpectedly after the April 11th <br /> 16 meeting and offered to let them know what options for appeal they still <br /> 17 retained. <br /> 18 Council Action <br /> 19 Motion by Marks, seconded by Enrooth to accept the recommendations of <br /> 20 the Hennepin County Assessors , Office to increase the valuation of the <br /> 21 , property at 2504 St. Anthony Boulevard by $5,600.00 and make no changes <br /> 22 in the valuations of properties at: 3608 Silver Lake Road; 3416 Edward <br /> 23 Street N.E. ; 3217 - 32nd Street N.E. , 3417 Edward Street N.E. , 2529 St. <br /> 24 . Anthony Boulevard; 3127 Stinson Boulevard; and. 3304 Wendhurst. <br /> 25 The Council further authorized the reductions in valuations recommended • <br /> 26 by the Assessors Office for the following properties: <br /> 27 2417 St. Anthony Boulevard 3001-36th Avenue N.E. <br /> 28 $1,100.00 reduction from $7 ,700.00 reduction from <br /> 29 $99,800.00 to $98,700.00 $120,700.00 to $113 ,000.00 <br /> 30 3637 Silver Lake Road 3204 Townview Avenue <br /> 31 $4,400.00 reduction from $2,200.00 reduction from <br /> 32 $99,100.00 to $94,700.00 $90,600.00 to $88,400.00 <br /> 33 3512-32nd Avenue N.E. 3107 Edgemere Avenue N.E. <br /> 34 $1,8.00.00 reduction from $1,800.00 reduction from <br /> 35 $100,300.00 to . $98,500.00 $102,700.00 to $100,900.00 <br /> 36 Motion carried unanimously. <br /> 37 Councilmember Marks commented that he thought it was a good idea to have <br /> 38 someone from the Council sit down with a Hennepin County Assessor to <br /> 39 try to get a better understanding of the valuation process, recalling <br /> 40 that several ago he and Mayor Haik had met with representatives of <br /> 41 Ramsey County Assessors Office, who had greatly enlightened the city <br /> 42 officials regarding that County's valuation process.
