Councilmember <br /> 4 Makowske also observed that Silver Point Park was looked at for an holding <br /> 5 pond but it was decided that it was not big enough. She noted that the storm <br /> 6 sewer out of the City was not large enough. <br /> 7 <br /> 8 Burt specualted that if the City can connect into the sewer in Minneapolis <br /> 9 where storm and sanitary sewers are separated a solution could be .found. <br /> 10 He felt this would be' economically feasible. Mayor Pro-Tem Rana] lo advised <br /> 11 that fourteen years ago a bigger sewer was installed to solve this problem <br /> 12 and it did not. . <br /> 13 <br /> 14 H. Joe Bredemus - 2705 St. Anthony Boulevard <br /> 15 Mr. Bredemus had been advised by the Assessor's office that only three houses <br /> 16 in his area experience water problems. He suggested that there are a number <br /> 17 more than three with this problem. <br /> 18 <br /> 19 The value of Mr. Bredemus' s house increased from $89,000 to $93,000 and he <br /> 20 wants his house viewed. <br /> 21 •22 Motion by Enrooth, second by Marks to direct the Assessor to view the house <br /> 23 at 2705 St. Anthony Boulevard. <br /> 24 <br /> 25 Motion carried unanimously <br /> 26 <br /> 27 I . Nancy Myhran - 2709 West Armour Terrace <br /> 28 Mrs. Myhran has lived in her home for thirty years and has experienced ten <br /> 29 floods. The house is valued at $86,000 and she is unable to sell it due to <br /> 30 the water problems. She requested that the house be reappraised. <br /> 31 <br /> 32 Burt stated that the Metropolitan Waste Control Commission now controls all <br /> 33 sewer lines and that the City may have access to them that was never an <br /> 34 option before. <br /> 35 <br /> 36 .
