CALL TO ORDER <br /> 9 <br /> 10 The Continued Board of Review was called to order at 6:30 p.m. by Mayor <br /> 11 Pro-tem Ranallo. <br /> 12 <br /> 13 2. ROLL CALL <br /> 14 <br /> 15 Present: Councilmembers Marks, Enrooth, Makowske and Mayor Pro-tem Ranallo <br /> 16 Absent: Mayor Sundland <br /> 17 Staff Present: City Manager Burt <br /> 18 <br /> 19 Glen Busitzky, Principal Appraiser from the Hennepin County Assessor's Office <br /> 20 was also present. <br /> 21 <br /> 22 Busitzky distributed copies of the values he is recommending for those <br /> �3 properties which were discussed at the Board of Review on. April 10, 1990. <br /> 24 He advised that the first step in the appraisal is to place a value on the <br /> �5 property. If the Assessor's office is contacted by the property owner prior <br /> 26 to the Board of Review the property is discussed or reviewed again. Some <br /> �7 changes in the valuation can be made at that time. If the property owner <br /> 28 does not contact the Assessor 's office they can still attend the Board of <br /> 29 Review and appeal their valuation. <br /> 30 <br /> 31 The Appraiser advised the Council of some of his findings which resulted in <br /> 32 property value adjustments. He noted that the property owners who attended <br /> 33 the Board of Review have been notified of the recommended valuations. Council - <br /> 34 member Enrooth inquired if the property owners and members of the Council <br /> 35 were the only person being informed of the proposed adjustments. He was <br /> 36 advised that this is correct. <br /> 37 <br /> 38 Five property owners had appealed their valuations. The Appraiser is recom- <br /> 39 mending the values be decreased on three of these properties. <br /> 40 ' <br /> 41 Motion by Marks, second by Enrooth to adopt the changes. in value as recom- <br /> 42 mended by Glen Busitzky, Principal Appraiser for Hennepin County, for those <br /> 43 three properties discussed at the April 10; 1990 Board of Review for St. <br /> 44 Anthony, which are as follows: 2925 Crestview Drive (PID 06-029-23-43-0014) <br /> 45 from $130,800 to $121 ,800; 3215 32nd Avenue N.E. (PID 06-029-23-42-0101) from <br /> 46 $129,000 to $121 ,900; and 2709 St. Anthony Boulevard (PID 07-029-2321-0060) <br /> 47 from $98,000 to $93,100. He recommended no change on 2705 St. Anthony Boulevard <br /> 48 nor. on 2709 West Armour Terrace. <br /> 49 <br /> 1050 Motion carried unanimously <br />
