v Regular Council Meeting 6 November 13, 1990 1 2 1. The Roger Bjorklund retirement party will be held Thursday, 3 December 27 at the Hilton. New Brighton is going to do something in 4 conjunction with St. Anthony. Mayor Ranallo will make the presentation. 5 The committee working on this is trying to get WCCO and the Governor to do 6 something on this. 7 Motion by Enrooth, second by Wagner to designate December 27 as Roger 8 Bjorklund Day. 9 Motion carried unanimously. 10 11 B. City Manager 12 13 City Manager Burt reported that there is one Cable Commission, two Planning 14 Commissioner and one Council vacancy (the Council appointment would last 15 until the next election in 1991). November 27 is a budget night with follow- 16 up on the 28th. December 4 is a work session and a Council meeting on the 17 11 th. 18 19 Recommendation: Mayor Ranallo recommended that the Council advertise 20 for applications in the newspaper on purchased front page space. Cutoff will 21 be November 30 at 4:30 p.m. Applications should include resume. 22 23 Cable position hearings will begin at 5:30 p.m. on November 26, half hour 24 apart. 25 26 45 minute interviews for Council applicants will be December 6 and 12, 6:30 27 p.m. Questions will be the same as last time. 28 29 At the work session December 4 Burt wants to discuss comparable worth. 30 31 8. Resolution 90-037, re: Police Department 1991 Labor Agreement. 36 Motion by Marks, second Enrooth to approve the Labor Agreement. - 37 Motion carried unanimously. 38 39 40 B. Addendum to Joint Powers Agreement with Northwest Youth & Family 41 Services. Although St. Anthony has been listed as a member, the City has 42 never officially signed a joint political agreement. 43 44
