Miscellaneous Items <br /> 11 The City Manager reminded members of the Council of the Council work <br /> 12 session scheduled for Tuesday, July 2nd. <br /> 13 <br /> 14 He advised that the request from Walgreen Drug hasbeen withdrawn. <br /> 15 He -noted that the Plannig Commission recommended that _a moratorium <br /> 16 be placed on development in the area of the St. Anthony Shopping <br /> 17 Center until further review can be done of zoning, land use, etc. <br /> 18 . Staff also recommends that other areas in the City be reviewed <br /> 19 with regard to run down properties, underutilized land use, etc. <br /> 20 <br /> Mayor Ranallo suggested that a planner be hired to look at other <br /> 211 <br /> 22 problem areas in the City, specifically the Clark Station. property. <br /> 23 8. PUBLIC HEARINGS <br /> 24 <br /> 25 There were no public hearings. <br /> 26 <br /> 27 <br /> �8 9. NEW BUSINESS <br /> 29 A. Resolution No. 91-031 ; Being a Resolution Litigation Settlement <br /> 311 <br /> 3Agreement , Werlein Plaintiffs, et al . <br /> 32 The City Manager stated that the plaintiff names mentioned in the body <br /> 33 of the resolution are only a few of -the thirty people involved. This <br /> 34 matter deals with. the contamination of the ground water which led the <br /> City to have a treatment plant. He noted that the matter has been <br /> 36 settled and the funds are in escrow. He expects the funds to be sent <br /> 37 to the City in approximately .two weeks. <br /> 38 Motion by Marks, second by Wagner to approve Resolution No. 91-031 , <br /> J49 0 being a resolution authorizing the Mayor and City Manager to execute <br /> 141 the litigation settlement agreement and the Pierringer release by -and <br /> 42 between the Werle'in Plaintiffs, Norton Erickson and Sylvester Bendel . <br /> J,3 <br /> 4y Motion carried unanimously <br /> b� <br /> 46 B. Resolution No. 91-032; Re : Lease Amendment with Apache Plaza, Ltd. <br /> 47 Motion by Marks, second by Enrooth to approve Resolution No. 91-032 <br /> 48 being a resolution authorizing the Mayor and City Manager to execute <br /> 49 the lease amendment between Apache Plaza, Ltd. and the City of St. <br /> 50 Anthony. <br /> r <br />
