March Work Session/Caucuses <br /> 14 <br /> 15 <br /> The City Manager noted that the March work session <br /> I 16 normally would be scheduled on the same evening as <br /> 17 precinct caususes . He inquired if members of the <br /> 18 Council wished- to reschedule this work session . He <br /> 20 noted that the only item which may be discussed <br /> would be with Dennis Cavanaugh of Apache Plaza. <br /> 21 <br /> 22 Mayor Ranallo suggested this work session not be <br /> 23 rescheduled unless there are some important items <br /> 24 of business which need to be addressed. <br /> 25 <br /> 26 8 . 1992 Goal Setting Session Report <br /> 27 <br /> 28 Members of the Council received the City Manager ' s <br /> 29 1992 Goal Setting Report . Upon review, the City <br /> 30 Manager noted that some of the items/goals have <br /> 31 already been met and many were in the process of <br /> 32 being completed. He referred to some of the non- <br /> 33 priority items which have been completed. <br /> 34 . <br /> 35 9. Relocation of Polling Place for Precinct 3 <br /> 36 <br /> 37 In a memo from the City Clerk, it was noted that it <br /> 38- is being recommended that Hennepin County Precinct <br /> 39 3 be dissolved and that registered voters in the <br /> 40 precinct be added to Hennepin County Precinct 2 . <br /> 41 <br /> 42 The City Manager advised it has been difficult to <br /> 43 obtain election judges for this location. <br /> 44 Registered voters do not need to be formally <br /> 45 notified that the polling place is being relocated. <br /> 46 The new location will be in the gymnasium at the <br /> 47 Community Center. It is allowed by State Statute to <br /> 48 have two polling places for different precincts in <br /> 49 the same facility. <br /> 50 <br /> 51 This action must be taken via a formal resolution. <br /> 52 The City Manager will prepare a resolution for the <br /> 53 next Council Meeting. • <br /> 54 <br />
