Directional signs having a surface area not greater <br /> than 5 square feet. <br /> Subd. 3. Construction Signs. Signs denoting the architect, engineer, or <br /> contractor; when placed-upon-work-under construction,_provided that the_ <br /> total sign surface area of.all such signs does not exceed the greater of 12 square <br /> feet or a ratio of one square foot of sign surface per 100 square feet of floor <br /> space in the construction project, up to a maximum of 32 square feet. <br /> Subd. 4. Memorial Signs. Memorial signs or tablets, or names of buildings <br /> antidote of erection when cut into a masonry surface or constructed of metal <br /> or stone and.attached to the building, not exceeding a sign surface area of 4 <br /> square feet. <br /> Subd. 5. Identification Signs. One identification sign per residential dwelling <br /> unit, which sign shall not exceed a sign surface area of 4 square feet per <br /> surface and shall have no more than two sign surfaces, and one address sign <br /> on the curb in front of each dwelling unit. <br /> Subd. 6. Thirty-Day Signs.
