Bids may be done together or <br /> . 2 separately on court size,playground equipment,basketball, hockey, playground <br /> 3 structures, pathways, etc.,with all subject to change. <br /> 4 Wagner suggested there might be a bidder wanting to do only the excavation. <br /> 5 Hubmer agreed that this is possible, although he said there usually are very aggressive bids <br /> 6 for entire projects. He added that the City might get a good price,with Central Park's <br /> 7 projects coming soon as well. <br /> 8 Siggelkow stated Council action is needed on the bid, but some could be spent on the <br /> 9 configuration. He added that the excavation is imminent due to the storm water plan, and <br /> 10 the excavation is not a Parks Commission issue. <br /> 11 Kosciolek repeated her request that the Commission stand behind this plan before it is <br /> 12 presented to Council. <br /> 13 <br /> 14 Siggelkow suggested the Commission might not be prepared to send the finalized. <br /> 15 configuration to the Council. <br /> 16 Morris agreed that a work session is needed. He said he would like to see a scale drawing <br /> 17 of the concept. Kosciolek replied that the parks task force has already done this. <br /> 18 Andra stated only Central Park's plan was fully reviewed, and this process took one year. <br /> 19 She agreed that the Commission needs more information, as this new plan would affect the <br /> 20 Central Park plan as well. She stated she agrees with Kosciolek that the Commission <br /> 21 should agree on the plan before it goes to Council. She said the Commission may need <br /> 22 more than one work session, as she would like the meeting to end tonight at 9:00 p.m. <br /> 23 She then asked for a motion to decide on the need for a work session. <br /> 24 Lambrecht requested the minutes from the parks task force. Jmdra stated the minutes <br /> 25 should have been handed out. She said that the force looked only at Central Park so these <br /> 26 minutes wouldn't help with Silver Point Park. <br /> 27 Siggelkow suggested the Commission vote tonight on two or three options for the <br /> 28 configuration. He said that when the scaled drawings are completed, the Commission <br /> 29 could make a final decision. Members who cannot attend a special session could cast an <br /> 30 absentee vote and send it In to Council.
