ANTHONY
PUBLIC WORKS UNIT.
Motion Carried unanimously.
Arnie Ullevig, of B.R.W. , Inc. , reiterated the conclusion of his
company' s traffic survey which does not support the assumption that
Skycroft Drive provides a major shortcut for external traffic nor
that the schools within the area pose a significant problem in
terms of numbers or percentages, though the manner in which some of
those vehicles are driven may be .an annoyance to the residents of
, Skycroft. There was agreement with Larry Hamer's suggestion that
the school be contacted regarding that problem, but no further ac-
tion taken unless- such 'is sought by the residents of the street,
at which time residents on other area streets are to be contacted
for their input.
Motion by Councilman Marks and seconded by Councilman Letourneau to
follow the Manager' s recommendation to table actigx,,on a lift sta-
tion on Foss Road until costs have been ascertained for proposed
sanitary sewer diversions in other areas.
Motion carried unanimously.
Because of the uncertainties .surrounding the senior housing project,
Councilman Ranallo preferred dedicating the additional $3 ,082 in
CDBG funds for the rehabilitation of private residences with the
understanding that if the senior housing project becomes a reality,
these funds can. .be reallocated.
Motion by Councilman Ranallo and seconded by Councilman. Letourneau
to target $2 ,700 of the additional CDBG' funds to the rehabilitation
of private residences and the remaining $382 for the administration
of the funds by the City. _
Motion carried unanimously.
A Council work session on the street reconstruction program was
tentatively set for 7 p.m. , February 28, with March 11 agreed to
as an alternate date.
!
1.
