-4- <br /> The Mayor. reported Councilman .Marks .had indicated to her. that, 'although <br /> he could not be-.present , for the hearing, he wanted .it entered into the <br /> record that he is in favor of the HRA. . <br /> Copies of priority ratings of the HUD Section 202 program applications <br /> including the senior housing proposal on Kenzie Terrace from various <br /> Metropolitan Council committees had-.been included in the Council agenda <br /> packets .and .the Mayor. reported . a meeting with the organization propos- <br /> ing the development in St. Anthony which she had attended with Mr. <br /> Berg and Brad. Bjorklund, Chairman of .the Planning. Commission, where <br /> the project officials . expressed . optimism regarding chances of <br /> receiving HUD financing. <br /> None of the Council members .present indicated, they, plan to attend the <br /> Congress of Cities .in Detroit.- in November and the City Clerk will <br /> wait to hear from .Councilman Marks whether he desires to have a <br /> reservationmade for him. <br /> Accepted as informational were .the Fire Department's June report and <br /> progress reports on City projects- including the Inflow/Infiltration <br /> Study from Mr. Hamer. <br /> Motion..b.y Councilman .Sundland-. and seconded .by Councilman Letourneau <br /> to grant the eight heating licenses listed in the July 14 , 1981 <br /> Council agenda. <br /> Motion carried. unanimously. <br /> • Mr. Soth agreed- the Community Services Department application for <br /> licenses to use .liquor in the City parks should probably be revised <br /> to conform to .City .ordinance requirements that information regarding <br /> dates and .event locationbe provided ..by the applicant. <br /> Motion: by Councilman Ranallo and seconded .by Councilman Sundland to <br /> approve temporary. beer licenses for 11 Cynthia Sibbet for a family <br /> picnic in Emerald Park, July. 19 , 1981, from 1-:00 P..M.. .to 7 :00 P.M. ; <br /> 2) for a Honeywell company. softball tournament .in Central .Park from <br /> 5 :30. P.M. t_ o .9 :00 P'.M.: , . July 24 , 1981; . and 3) for a District 282 <br /> gradLiates".. gathering in Central Park from 2 :00 .P.M.- to 8:00 P.M. , . <br /> September 12 , 1981. ' <br /> Motion. carried unanimously. <br /> Motion- by Councilman Sundland and seconded by.Mayor Haik to approve. <br /> payment of. all .verified claims- listed in. the July 14 , .1981 Council <br /> agenda. <br /> Motion carried unanimously. <br /> Motion by Councilman Ranallo and seconded by Councilman Sundland to <br /> approve payment of $2 ,694.45 to Planning Design & Research Engineers <br /> fpr their services on the infiltration/inflow analysis. <br /> • Motion carried unanimously. <br />
