Puffer, 4025 Fordham Drive N.E. , for a neighborhood reunion to be <br /> held in Emerald Park from 9:00 A.M. to 9:00 P.M. , August(r17, 1985; and <br /> 5. to Patricia Fagerlee, 3407 Croft Drive, for a birthday picnic for 130 people <br /> to be held from 10:00 A:M. to 10:00 P.M. , in Central Park, August 17, 1985. <br /> Voting on the motion: <br /> Aye: Ranallo and Enrooth. <br /> Nay: Marks. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> Motion by Councilmember Marks and seconded by Councilmember Enrooth to approve payment <br /> of all verified claims listed for July 31 and August 13, 1985 in the August 13th <br /> Council agenda packet. <br /> Motion carried unanimously. <br /> Mr. Childs explained that the $35 item in the Dorsey & Whitney billing for June <br /> should not have appeared in the statement since it represented an expense in the <br /> ongoing Louise Vojtik litigation, which would be covered by insurance. <br /> Motion by Mayor Pro Tem Ranallo and seconded by Councilmember Enrooth to approve <br /> payment of $740.75 to Dorsey & Whitney for legal services during June, 1985. <br /> Motion carried unanimously. <br /> Motion by Councilmember Marks and seconded by Councilmember Enrooth to approve pay- <br /> ment of $2,750 to American Risk Services as the third and final payment for their <br /> consulting services to the City. <br /> Motion carried unanimously. <br /> Motiorr�)by Councilmember Enrooth and seconded by Councilmember Marks to approve pay- <br /> ment of the June billing for $26,813.15 to .the Metropolitan Waste Control Commission. <br /> Motion carried unanimously. <br /> Councilmember Marks indicated he intends to make reservations to attend the National <br /> League of Cities conference to be held in Seattle in December. The Mayor Pro Tem said <br /> he had already been authorized to go as a member of the Minnesota League of Cities <br /> task force, depending, of course, on the outcome of the November 5th elections. <br /> Councilmember Makowske arrived at 7:41 P.M. and indicated she would also like to go <br /> • to the conference. <br />
