Control =Commission for the January <br /> sewer service charges. <br /> Motion carried unanimously. <br /> When Councilmember'Makowske asked whether the $7,914 the City of Roseville was bill- <br /> ing the City for the Youth Service Bureau had been budgeted, Councilmember Enrooth <br /> indicated that, although that amount had been included in the 1986 budget, he did <br /> not recall that it had .been discussed. during the budget process. <br /> Motion by Councilmember Makowske and seconded by Council.member Marks to approve <br /> payment of $7,914 to the City of Roseville as the City of St. Anthony's participation <br /> in the Youth Service Bureau. <br /> • Voting on the motion: <br /> Aye: Makowske, Marks, Ranallo, and Sundland. <br /> Nay: Enrooth. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> Although it had -not been necessary to use the LMC Labor Relations Services for bar- <br /> gaining or -mediation recently, Mr. Childs indicated that, based on the help given <br /> with difficult contract negotiations in the past, he perceived the service was well <br /> worth the .:money. <br /> Motion by:Councilmember Marks and seconded by Councilmember Ranallo to approve pay- <br /> ment of $2;212 to the League of Minnesota Cities for the Labor Relations Subscriber <br /> Service from March 15,, 1986 through March 14, T987. <br /> Motion carried unanimously. <br /> Firefighter Don Drusch was present with Fire Chief Entner to demonstrate the CRC <br /> Heart-Aid equipment the Fire Department had raised funds to purchase for use in <br /> cardiac emergency calls. Firefighter. Drusch demonstrated the different features of <br /> the machine and told Councilmember Ranallo it was designed primarily.for use in <br /> cases of cardiac arrest as distinguished from heart attacks. Because the machine <br /> has a. pacemaker capability to stimulate and regulate. the victim's. hear-tbeat, the <br /> firefighter -indicated the CRC is quite a bit more technical than .equipment carried <br /> on -most ambulances. <br />
