Appoint Enaineer to do Analysis of the Drainage System to <br /> 19 Ponds in Northeast Corner of Salvation Army Camp <br /> 20 <br /> 21 The City Manager noted that the Wexford Heights <br /> 22 development is already into its second phase and there <br /> 23 appears to be no concern in place for drainage. <br /> 24 <br /> 25 The Salvation Army Camp has hired Barr study the water Engineering gineering to <br /> quality. The Camp is impacted by the <br /> 27 <br /> water runoff from the Wexford Heights development as well <br /> 028 as water runoff from Silver Lake Road and County Road E. <br /> 09 It was suggested that St . Anthony, New Brighton, Ramsey <br /> 31 County, the Salvation Army Camp and the developer of <br /> 32 Wexford Heights all meet to discuss their mutual <br /> 33 concerns . The City Manager advised that St . Anthony will <br /> 34 take the lead in coordinating the solutions for water <br /> 35 runoff problems . He noted that Rice Creek Watershed <br /> 36 District will also be involved . The developer will pay <br /> 37 costs as will other entities for solutions . <br /> 38 <br /> 39 A letter was received from Barr Engineering stating their <br /> 40 proposal for <br /> 41 -performing an analysis of the drainage <br /> system tributary to the ponds in the northeast corner of <br /> 42 the Salvation Army Camp. It was stated that the <br /> 43 goal of <br /> the study is to recommend the most cost effective <br /> 44 drainage system for the area, considering conveyance <br /> 45 needs, right-of-way and property concerns , and future <br /> 46 runoff treatment systems . <br /> 47 <br /> 48 C. Approval of Contractor for Reconstruction of Old Hiahwav <br /> 49 # 8 <br /> 50 <br /> 51 Six bids were received for the reconstruction of Old <br /> 52 Highway #8 . The low bid of $254 ,489. 35 was from F.M. <br /> 53 Frattalone Excavating. This bid was under that <br /> engineering estimate . <br />
