PRESENTATION OF CLAIMS. <br /> 8 Motion by Marks, second by Wagner to approve the following claims: <br /> 9 A. Dorsey_& Whitney, in the amount of$268.29 for legal services rendered through <br /> 10 February 28, 1995 and in the amount of$3,549.94 for legal services rendered in regards <br /> 11 to the issuance of$825,000 General Obligation Improvement Bonds, Series 1995A. <br /> 12 B. Superior Ford. Inc., in the amount of$16,376.00 for police vehicle, in the amount of <br /> 13 $16,376.00 for police vehicle, and in the amount of$14,147.00 for pickup truck. <br /> 14 C. Rieke Carroll Muller Associates, Inc., in the amount of$2,452.13 for professional <br /> 15 services rendered from March 26 to April 22, 1995 in regards to St. Anthony street <br /> 16 construction. <br /> 17 D. 3 pages of Verified Claims as presented by the Finance Director. <br /> 18 Motion carried unanimously. <br /> 19 VII. REPORTS. <br /> 20 A. Mayor-None. <br /> 21 B. Council. <br /> 22 Fleming reported the library book sale is being held on Saturday, May 13, 1995. <br /> 23 Marks reported the Sister City Committee met and has determined an alternative place for <br /> 24 the Mayor/Manager of Salo to stay when he visits in August. There was Council <br /> 25 consensus for the Councilmembers to meet with Mr. Lindquist, Salo Finland,prior to the <br /> 26 work session on August 1, 1995. <br /> 27 Enrooth thanked the newspapers for their coverage on the St. Anthony city clean-up. <br /> 28 C. Ci ,Manager. <br /> 29 1. Fire Department's 1994 Annual Report. <br /> 30 Fire Chief Richard Johnson presented the Fire Department's 1994 Annual Report. He <br /> 31 indicated the City will need to acquire a new fire engine within the next three to five <br /> years. Johnson explained a new fire truck will cost approximately $200,000.00 and will <br /> 4453 last 20 to 25 years. He stated the three fire engines the Fire Department currently have <br /> 34 are a 1985, 1975, and 1972 models. He referred to the amount of mutual aid fire calls for <br /> 35 1994. During the year of 1994,. the Fire Department responded to four major house fires, <br /> 36 an apartment building fire, a row of townhomes on fire, and two major gasoline fires in <br /> 37 neighboring communities. Johnson reported the Roseville Fire Department had donated <br />
