City Council Regular Meeting Minutes <br /> September 13, 1994 <br /> Page 3 <br /> 1 3. Proclamation of Kiwanis Peanut Day, Councilmember Wagner requested that the date be <br /> 2 changed from September 23 to September 30, 1994. <br /> 3 Motion by Marks, second by Wagner to proclaim September 30, 1994 as St. Anthony Kiwanis <br /> 4 Peanut Day. <br /> 5 Motion carried unanimously. <br /> 6 4. St. Anthony Friends of the Library. Since he will be unavailable, Mayor Ranallo asked <br /> 7 Councilmember Wagner to attend the Thursday night Friends of the Library meeting at the St. <br /> 8 Anthony branch. It was noted that the new Hennepin County Library Director, Charles Brown, <br /> 9 will be in attendance. Wagner accepted. <br /> 10 <br /> I1 B. Council. <br /> 12 Councilmember Wagner related his attendance at the Community Service Advisory Council <br /> 13 Meeting. He stated that they are having a membership drive. The C.S.A.C. is interested in an <br /> 14 update on the progress with CUB Foods and Apache Plaza, and complimented the City Council's <br /> progress. They also expressed concern regarding decisions on the new location of the City Hall <br /> building. <br /> 17 Councilmember Wagner announced that he attended an Open House for Trenditions this <br /> 18 afternoon. He stated he was very impressed with the staff and environment of this facility which <br /> 19 will house Alzheimer patients. <br /> 20 C. Cil, Manager. <br /> 21 City Manager Morrison reported that 3 Hennepin County Assessors are reviewing properties in <br /> 22 St. Anthony. They have already visited 100 homes and the response from the homeowners has <br /> 23 been favorable. <br /> 24 VIII. PUBLIC HEARING -None. <br /> 25 IX. NEW BUSINESS <br /> 26 A. Approve Contractor for Sidewalk Approach Ramps. <br /> 27 Motion by Marks, second by Enrooth to award the bid for sidewalk ADA approach ramps <br /> 28 located at Kenzie Terrace and St. Anthony Boulevard/Coolidge Street at Kenzie Terrace,to <br /> 29 Norsk Concrete Construction for$5,280. <br /> Motion carried unanimously. <br />
