-2- <br /> b. <br /> 2-b. Mr. Sohoroajick of Rodney Billman Inc. presented a request for a 1 foot <br /> . variance in overhang length on a house at 3005 - 36th Avenue. The house has <br /> a 5 foot side yard and a normal 2 foot overhang but also has a 2 foot extension <br /> of the normal overhang. If the extension is removed, it could possibly destroy <br /> the semetrics of this house. <br /> Mr. Dillman uas informed by a letter dated September 17, 1965 from the <br /> wilding Inspector than the house is in violation. <br /> Mr. Sohorowic!< further pointed out the structure on the adjoining property <br /> is approximately 60 feet from this common property line. Adjoining property <br /> owner, Dan Burrill , displGyed his disapproval of granting a variance. <br /> Moved by DiCarlo seconded by Englund to recommend to the Council to approve <br /> the variance request of 1 foot in overhang length. <br /> Voting on the motion: <br /> Aye: DiCarlo, Englund, Mesenbring <br /> Nay: Howitz <br /> The motion carried. <br /> c. Mr. Leo Hertog presented for Ronald Hertog his request or a 15 foot <br /> asministrative platting variance in corner lot frontage and an eight foot <br /> variance in back yard requirements at 2615 - 32nd Avenue N.E. Mr. Hertog is <br /> requesting to divide Lot 3 (50' x 150' )in half adding 25 feet to Lots 2 and 4, <br /> Block 6, Clark and Kings Hennepin Garden. This would result in two 75 foot x <br /> 150 foot lots replacing these 50 x 150 foot lots. <br /> Mr. Hertog feels a 75 foot lot is in keeping with the neighborhood and an <br /> 0 foot back yard variance is the minimum possible variance while maintaining <br /> 30 foot corner lot street set backs and a 17 foot back yard. <br /> Moved by Howitz seconded by DiCarlo to recommend to the Council to grant a <br /> 15 foot variance in corner lot frontage and an 8 foot bac!: yard variance. <br /> All in favor. Motion Carried. <br /> A recess was declared at 7:40 P.ii. <br /> The joint meeting of the Village Council - Planning Board commenced at 8:00 P.M. <br /> Council members present: <br /> McNulty, Bailey, Erickson, Dougherty <br /> Absent: Sorenson <br /> Also present t•jas Village Manager, John Printon <br />
