•3- <br /> The village manager was instructed to notify the Purity Dairy Store <br /> • owner on 37th Avenue N.E. that he had not conformed to the development plan <br /> as approved in regard to the installation of curb and gutter controlled <br /> ingress and egress. If work is not started within the week, he shall be <br /> instructed to appear before the council to shovel cause for not complying with <br /> the approved development plan. <br /> Upon motion by Councilman Sorenson seconded by Councilman Bailey it <br /> was moved that tabled petitions for street lights in the vicinity of <br /> 27th and Wilson Street N.E. and 27th and Roosevelt Street be removed from <br /> the table. <br /> The motion carried. <br /> Mrs. Basara asked to be heard and asked the Council to consider the <br /> installation of a street light in the alley way behind the trailer court. <br /> She was informed by the council that it was their policy to only install street <br /> lights at street intersections and in locations that the length of the <br /> blocks require special consideration. It was suggested that she or her <br /> neighbors install a "Silent Sentinal" light to supplement their yard lights. <br /> The Village Manager was instructed to notify the police of the night <br /> parking and vandalism acts being committed in this area, and to give special <br /> attention to increasing the patrol during the problem hours. <br /> • Upon motion by Councilman Sorenson seconded by Councilman Erickson, the <br /> following requests for street lights were approved: <br /> 27th Avenue and Roosevelt Street N.E. <br /> Between Roosevelt and Wilson Street on 27th Avenue, <br /> the location to be determined by the Police Department. <br /> The motion carried. <br /> Upon motion by Councilman Erickson, seconded by Councilman Bailey, it was <br /> moved that the request for a street light at 29th Avenue and Crestview Drive <br /> and at Roselle Drive and 29th Avenue N.E. be approved. <br /> The motion carried. <br /> The meeting recessed for fifteen minutes at 9:40 P.M. and was called to <br /> order again at 9:55 P.M. <br /> Councilman Bailey noted that there was an apparent error in the police <br /> monthly report in mileage submitted for Car #858, as this speedometer was <br /> installed with a mileage recording from another vehicle, <br /> The Police Report for the month of Augu:st v,us ordered placed on file. <br /> • <br /> 1 <br />
