-2- <br /> Voting <br /> 2-Voting on the Resolution: <br /> Aye: McNulty, Dougherty, Bailey, Sorenson <br /> • <br /> Nay: None <br /> Absent not voting: Erickson <br /> The Resolution was declared adopted. <br /> Upon motion by Councilman Sorenson, Resolution No. 65-080 was presented <br /> for adoption. <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 65-080 <br /> A RESOLUTION JOINING THE VILLAGE OF ST. ANTHONY AND THE VILLAGE OF ROSEVILLE <br /> UNDER SECTION 115.49 MINNESOTA STATUTES ANNOTATED, REQUESTING A PUBLIC HEARING <br /> BEFORE THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ST. PAUL ON THE PRESENT SEWER RATE CHARGES, <br /> The Resolution was duly seconded by Councilman Bailey. <br /> Voting on the Resolution: <br /> Aye: McNulty, Sorenson, Bailey, Dougherty <br /> Nay: None <br /> Absent not voting: Erickson <br /> The Resolution was declared adopted. <br /> Mayor McNulty expressed his gratitude to the members of the Park Board <br /> • and the Planning Board for their unselfish giving of their time to the Village. <br /> He also expressed his personal thanks to Mr. Jerome Bennek for his service on <br /> the Park Board and regretfully accepted his resignation. <br /> Upon motion by Councilman Dougherty seconded by Councilman Bailey, it was <br /> moved that Jerome M. Bennek be presented a Certificate of Merit Award in <br /> recognition of his services on the Park Board. <br /> Motion Carried. <br /> After discussion, it was directed that a survey be made of inoperable <br /> vehicles parked on private property and that a report be submitted at the <br /> November 9th meeting outlining the locations and types of vehicles parked, <br /> as well as enforcement problems encountered by other municipalities that have <br /> an ordinance similar to the one under consideration. <br /> The Village Manager was instructed to contact officials of the Village of <br /> New Brighton relative to setting up a joint meeting on November 16th to discuss <br /> the improvement of Silver Lane. The Village Attorney and Village Engineer were <br /> also asked to attend this meeting. <br /> The minutes of the Planning Board meeting of October 19th were ordered <br /> placed on file. <br /> Mr. Clem Springer of the Planning board was present to present the actions <br /> as taken by the Advisory Planning Board. <br /> • <br />
