AFTER DISCUSSION, <br /> MAYOR O'CONNOR MOVED AND SECONDED BY COUNCILMAN BAILEY THAT THE SIGN RE- <br /> QUEST OF THE ST. ANTHONY BANK BE APPROVED AS RECOMMENDED BY THE PLANNING <br /> BOARD AND SUBJECT TO THE APPROVAL OF A CURBING PLAN BY THE VILLAGE ENGINEER, <br /> NAY: DOUGHERTY, EMOND. <br /> MOTION NOT CARRIED. <br /> MOTION BY COUNCILMAN EMOND AND SECONDED BY MAYOR O'CONNOR THAT TENTATIVE <br /> APPROVAL BE GIVEN TO THE ST. ANTHONY STATE BANK FOR RELOCATION OF SIGNS <br /> AS PROPOSED PROVIDING THE SIGN HEIGHT DOES NOT EXCEED THE ADJACENT MUNICIPAL <br /> STORE SIGN AND THAT A CURBING LAYOUT BE SUBMITTED TO THE VILLAGE ENGINEER <br /> FOR APPROVAL* <br /> MOTION CARRIED. <br /> THE MAYOR DECLARED THAT THIS WAS THE TIME AND THE PLACE FOR THE HOLDING <br /> OF A PUBLIC HEARING ON ASSESSMENTS FOR IMPROVEMENTS AS ADVERTISED IN THE <br /> OFFICIAL VILLAGE NEWSPAPER. <br /> DEWAYNE OLSON, VILLAGE ENGINEER, REVIEWED PROJECT 1966-1 WATER AND SEWER <br /> OUTLINING THE CONSTRUCTION, AREA ASSESSED, AND RATE OF ASSESSMENT. MRS, <br /> AMMERMAN COMPLAINED OF BEING INCLUDED IN THE ASSESSMENT AREA. IT WAS <br /> EXPLAINED BY THE VILLAGE ENGINEER THAT HER PRESENT RESIDENTIAL HOOK UP <br /> TO THE MINNEAPOLIS SYSTEM WOULD NOT BE ADEQUATE FOR FUTURE COMMERCIAL <br /> DEVELOPMENT OF THE PROPERTY, THERE BEING NO FURTHER QUESTIONS, THE MAYOR <br /> DECLARED THIS PORTION OF THE HEARING CLOSED. <br />
