1P <br /> -2- <br /> 46 <br /> Absent not voting: Springer. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> It was noted that the entire RIW would be retained for utility easement purposes. <br /> The Council agreed that the new Director of Public Safety would be named the <br /> requesting and the responding authority for the Hennepin County Mutual Aid Agree- <br /> ment. <br /> Motion by Councilman Crouse and seconded by Mayor O'Connor that the licenses be <br /> approved as submitted. <br /> SERVICE STATION LICENSE : St. Anthony Standard <br /> Motion carried. <br /> Councilman Crouse introduced Resolution No. 68-053 and moved its adoption. <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 68-053 <br /> A RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE CODIFICATION <br /> OF VILLAGE ORDINANCES. <br /> The Resolution was duly seconded by Mayor O'Connor. <br /> • Voting on the Resolution: <br /> Aye: O'Connor, Dougherty, Crouse, Emond. <br /> Nay: None. <br /> Absent not voting: Springer. <br /> Resolution declared adopted. <br /> After discussion, motion by Councilman Crouse and seconded by Mayor O 'Connor <br /> that the request of Montgomery Wards Company for permission to sell Christmas <br /> trees be approved. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> The permit was conditioned upon the tree sales being carried on within the <br /> present fenced area. <br /> Representatives of Vendal Machines Company appeared regarding vending machine <br /> license fees. Mr. Schwalm, JC representative, informed the Council that the <br /> JC's received 20% of the gross sales of JC sponsored machines. The Council <br /> indicated that the License Fee Ordinance would be reviewed as soon as the <br /> Codified Ordinances were printed. <br /> Motion by Councilman Crouse and seconded by Mayor O'Connor that the Vendal Com- <br /> pany machines be removed until the Council has had an opportunity to review the <br /> fee schedule. <br /> Motion carried. <br />
