" -2- <br /> Councilman Emond introduced Resolution No. 68-056 and moved its adoption. <br /> • RESOLUTION NO. 68-056 <br /> A RESOLUTION WAIVING ASSESSMENTS ON <br /> VILLAGE PROPERTY <br /> Voting on the resolution: <br /> Aye: O'Connor, Springer, Emond. <br /> Nay: None. <br /> Absent not voting: Dougherty, Crouse. <br /> Resolution declared adopted. <br /> A tabulation of bids for the furnishing of one accounting machine per specificat- <br /> ions was as follows: <br /> Burroughs Corporation - $10,148.75, net bid. <br /> National Cash Register Co. - $12,248.00, net bid. <br /> Less 1% - 20 days <br /> Motion by Councilman Emond and seconded by Mayor O'Connor that the bids for the <br /> furnishing of one accounting machine be tabled to November 26, 1968. <br /> • Motion carried. <br /> Mr. Wente appeared regarding a proposed greenhouse conservatory to be constructed <br /> at 3113 Croft Drive N. E. After discussion, motion by Mayor O'Connor and seconded <br /> by Councilman Emond that a variance be granted to construct a greenhouse conserva- <br /> tory per plan submitted with the stipulation that the production of the green- <br /> house be limited to personal use and that the property be restored to its present <br /> condition if the greenhouse is removed. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> A petition was received from Albert J. Villella, property owner, Lot 1, Block 1, <br /> Villella Addition, to provide for a sewer service line to be constructed from <br /> the lateral sewer line on Fordham Drive to the aforementioned described property <br /> line. After discussion, Mayor O'Connor moved and seconded by Councilman Springer <br /> that the Village engineer be directed to obtain costs of the proposed installation <br /> and report on the feasibility of the project. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> The October liquor report was received and reviewed and ordered filed. <br /> Motion by Mayor O 'Connor and seconded by Councilman Springer that a request to <br /> install a paper sales box on 37th Avenue N. E. "about two blocks East of Silver <br /> Lake Road", be denied. <br /> 40 Motion carried. <br /> Councilman Emond moved and seconded by Mayor O'Connor that the licenses be approved <br /> as submitted. <br />
