• -2- <br /> Motion <br /> 2-Motion carried. <br /> Motion by Councilman Crouse and seconded by Mayor Pro Tem Emond to adopt <br /> Ordinance 1970-10 repealing Section 1010 of the 1968 Code of Ordinances and to <br /> waive any further readings of the ordinance. <br /> ORDINANCE 1970-10 <br /> AN ORDINANCE RELATING TO DAIRY PRO- <br /> DUCTS REPEALING SECTION 1010 OF THE <br /> 1968 CODE OF ORDINANCES <br /> Motion carried. <br /> The Village Manager was directed to contact the Pollution Control Agency in re- <br /> gard to their action on a burning ordinance and to report back to the Council <br /> within 30 days. <br /> Motion by Councilman Crouse and seconded by Councilman Englund to approve the <br /> Christenson Plat granting the variance as shown on the plat and waiving the <br /> requirement for prior written application as set forth in the Village ordinances, <br /> Section 325, Subdivision 10, parts A and B, in view of the fact that this would <br /> be a hardship to the builder; subject to the abstract being submitted to the <br /> Village Attorney for approval. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> Motion by Councilman Crouse and seconded by Mayor Pro Tem Emond that if the <br /> builder on Lot 1 of the above mentioned plat desires to get a permit, for base- <br /> ment construction only, subject to the compliance with the side line requirements <br /> of the building ordinance, prior to the final approval of the abstract; that this <br /> permit be granted. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> Councilman Crouse introduced Resolution 70-022 and moved its adoption. <br /> RESOLUTION 70-022 <br /> RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING ISSUANCE <br /> OF DUPLICATE BOND COUPONS <br /> The resolution was duly seconded by Councilman Englund. <br /> Voting on the resolution: <br /> Aye: Crouse, Emond, Levandowski , Englund <br /> Nay: None <br /> Motion by Councilman Crouse and seconded by Mayor Pro Tem Emond directing the <br /> Village Manager to write to the firm of Popham, Haik, Schnobrich, Kaufman and <br /> Doty thanking them for representing us in the Soo Line Railway cases. <br /> • Motion carried. <br />
