Motion by Councilman Crouse and seconded by Mayor Pro Tem Emond to adopt Ordinance 1970-10 repealing Section 1010 of the 1968 Code of Ordinances and to waive any further readings of the ordinance. ORDINANCE 1970-10 AN ORDINANCE RELATING TO DAIRY PRO- DUCTS REPEALING SECTION 1010 OF THE 1968 CODE OF ORDINANCES Motion carried. The Village Manager was directed to contact the Pollution Control Agency in re- gard to their action on a burning ordinance and to report back to the Council within 30 days. Motion by Councilman Crouse and seconded by Councilman Englund to approve the Christenson Plat granting the variance as shown on the plat and waiving the requirement for prior written application as set forth in the Village ordinances, Section 325, Subdivision 10, parts A and B, in view of the fact that this would be a hardship to the builder; subject to the abstract being submitted to the Village Attorney for approval. Motion carried. Motion by Councilman Crouse and seconded by Mayor Pro Tem Emond that if the builder on Lot 1 of the above mentioned plat desires to get a permit, for base- ment construction only, subject to the compliance with the side line requirements of the building ordinance, prior to the final approval of the abstract; that this permit be granted. Motion carried. Councilman Crouse introduced Resolution 70-022 and moved its adoption. RESOLUTION 70-022 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING ISSUANCE OF DUPLICATE BOND COUPONS The resolution was duly seconded by Councilman Englund. Voting on the resolution: Aye: Crouse, Emond, Levandowski , Englund Nay: None Motion by Councilman Crouse and seconded by Mayor Pro Tem Emond directing the Village Manager to write to the firm of Popham, Haik, Schnobrich, Kaufman and Doty thanking them for representing us in the Soo Line Railway cases. • Motion carried.
