-3- Motion by Councilman Sundland, seconded by Mayor Miedtke to direct the Plann- ing Board to hold a public hearing October 15, 1974 on a side yard variance for the home proposed to be built by Mr. & Mrs. Dale Michaelhoff at 3604 Downers Drive. • tion carried. Mr. Heibel reported that the Planning Board hoped to complete their proposals for the revision of the city zoning ordinance early in October. Motion by Councilman Sundland, seconded by Councilman Haik to approve of and authorize the Mayor and Manager to sign the agreement between the City of St. Anthony, Hennepin County and the Minnesota Hwy. Dept. for the installation of traffic signals in accordance with the letter from the Highway Dept. of September 20, 1974 which set St. Anthony's share of costs at approximately $15,000 after federal aid had been applied to reduce the City's share. Motion carried. Motion by Councilman Su ndland, seconded by Councilman Sauer to table action indefinitely on the agreement with Hennepin County covering the re-evaluat- ion of non-residential property by the Hennepin County Assessor. Motion carried. Motion by Councilman Sundland, seconded by Councilman Stauffer to authorize the City Manager to enter into an agreement with the George M. Hansen Co. to perform the City's 1974 audit for a fee not to exceed $5,250.00. Motion carried. • The Fire and Police Reports were ordered filed. Mr. Dulgar told the Council that he was getting more bids on liquor dispensers for the liquor lounge and would be able to report on them by the next meeting. Councilman Stauffer,reported on the letter she had received from Delores Knaak, Commissioner of Ramsey County, regarding the utilization of the legislature's authorization of a 1 mill levy for senior citizens programs. Motion by Councilman Stauffer, seconded by Councilman Haik to support the City of New Brighton's proposed acquisition of the Brightwood Hills Golf Course Ip New Brighton by Ramsey County. Motion carried. Mayor Miedtke presented with his congratulations a plaque to Mr. Dulgar from the Automobile Club of Minneapolis citing the City of St. Anthony's excell- ence in the field of pedestrian safety and requested that the Manager convey to the Police Chief the Council's appreciation of the Police Department's fine work in this area. Mr. Dulgar pointed out that this was the thirteenth year the City had received the award. There was a discussion of the conflict in timing which had resulted from the scheduling of the public hearing on the storm sewer assessments by the City • and an open house for School District #2821s High School both at the same time October 1.
