Dept. for the installation <br /> of traffic signals in accordance with the letter from the Highway Dept. of <br /> September 20, 1974 which set St. Anthony's share of costs at approximately <br /> $15,000 after federal aid had been applied to reduce the City's share. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> Motion by Councilman Su ndland, seconded by Councilman Sauer to table action <br /> indefinitely on the agreement with Hennepin County covering the re-evaluat- <br /> ion of non-residential property by the Hennepin County Assessor. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> Motion by Councilman Sundland, seconded by Councilman Stauffer to authorize <br /> the City Manager to enter into an agreement with the George M. Hansen Co. <br /> to perform the City's 1974 audit for a fee not to exceed $5,250.00. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> • The Fire and Police Reports were ordered filed. <br /> Mr. Dulgar told the Council that he was getting more bids on liquor dispensers <br /> for the liquor lounge and would be able to report on them by the next meeting. <br /> Councilman Stauffer,reported on the letter she had received from Delores <br /> Knaak, Commissioner of Ramsey County, regarding the utilization of the <br /> legislature's authorization of a 1 mill levy for senior citizens programs. <br /> Motion by Councilman Stauffer, seconded by Councilman Haik to support the <br /> City of New Brighton's proposed acquisition of the Brightwood Hills Golf <br /> Course Ip New Brighton by Ramsey County. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> Mayor Miedtke presented with his congratulations a plaque to Mr. Dulgar from <br /> the Automobile Club of Minneapolis citing the City of St. Anthony's excell- <br /> ence in the field of pedestrian safety and requested that the Manager convey <br /> to the Police Chief the Council's appreciation of the Police Department's <br /> fine work in this area. Mr. Dulgar pointed out that this was the thirteenth <br /> year the City had received the award. <br /> There was a discussion of the conflict in timing which had resulted from the <br /> scheduling of the public hearing on the storm sewer assessments by the City <br /> • and an open house for School District #2821s High School both at the same <br /> time October 1. <br />
