1 <br /> • -2- <br /> His motion to table died for lack of a second. <br /> The motion to approve payment of $450.00 towards the celebration carried. <br /> • Councilman Sauer questioned the "janitor fees" in the financial statement and <br /> said he would follow up on that item. <br /> Motion by Councilman Sundland, seconded by Councilman Haik to adopt resolution <br /> §74-033. <br /> RESOLUTION 74-033 <br /> A RESOLUTION ORDERING A PUBLIC HEARING ON A <br /> SUPPLEMENTARY ASSESSMENT ON STORM SEWER <br /> IMPROVEMENT PROJECT 1972-1. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> After assurances were made to Councilman Haik that a resolution dealing with <br /> the reapportionment of assessments on the Holien lot split did not grant <br /> approval to the lot split itself, the following motion was made: <br /> Motion by Mayor Miedtke, seconded by Councilman Sundland to adopt Resolution <br /> #74-034. <br /> RESOLUTION 74-034 <br /> HOLIFN'S FIRST ADDITION-NFW PLAT <br /> REAPPORTIONMENT OF ASSESSMENTS <br /> • Motion carried. <br /> Motion by Councilman Stauffer, seconded by Councilman Haik to adopt Resolution <br /> #74-030 . with references to St. Anthony as "village" to "city" . <br /> RESOLUTION 74-030 <br /> RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION 68-040 <br /> A RESOLUTION FSTkBLISHING A HUMAN RELATIONS <br /> ADVISORY COMMITTFF AND RESOLUTION 71-013 BY <br /> REPEALING SAME AND ADOPTING RESOLUTION 74-030. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> Mr. Vern Peterson of the Kiwanis Club appeared to thank the Council for their <br /> authorization and support of the Peanut Sale which he reported netted the <br /> organization $1,500 to fund various community projects. <br /> Motion by Mayor Miedtke, seconded by Councilman Sundland to table action <br /> on the Lamppa letter regarding delays in their work on Water Improvement <br /> Project 1974-1 until the compaction tests are in. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> Councilman Haik requested that bulletin boards be set up in City Hall, the <br /> post office and bank where the public could be notified of meetings and be <br /> advised of where they could seek information on other city business because of <br /> failure of other sources of notification to provide such data on a regular <br /> basis. Mayor Miedtke reported that such a bulletin board was being set up <br /> at city hall and was concerned with the cost and labor involved in keeping the <br /> other two bulletin boards current.
