(� <br /> 1160.03 Application for Permit; Issuance; Fee. Application for a permit required by • <br /> this Section is to be made to the Building Official in the same manner, and <br /> containing the same information, as for a building permit. The application must be <br /> accompanied by the fee set forth in Section 615. Any permits issued will be issued by <br /> the Building Official. <br /> 1160.04 General Requirements. All antennas, dish antennas and towers, for which <br /> a permit is required must comply with the following requirements: <br /> Subd. 1. All applicable provisions of the State Building Code. _ L'c_vv"l <br /> Subd. 2. Grounding for protection against a direct strike by lightning. <br /> Subd. 3. Height no greater than the distance from the base of the antenna, <br /> dish antenna or tower to the nearest overhead electrical power line (except <br /> individual service drops), minus five feet. <br /> Subd. 4. Protection to discourage climbing by unauthorized persons. <br /> Subd. 5. No lights, reflectors, flashers or other illuminating devices, or signs, <br /> banners or placards of any kind. <br /> Subd. 6. Construction Material Restrictions. Construction with • <br /> corrosive-resistant steel or other corrosive-resistant, non-combustible <br /> materials, with no wood. <br /> Subd. 7. Prohibited Extensions. No extension over any part of a street, <br /> sidewalk or alley. <br /> 1160.05 Location and Screening. Any antenna, dish antenna or tower must comply <br /> with the following: <br /> Subd. 1. Setbacks for principal buildings. <br /> Subd. 2. The following minimum distance must be provided between <br /> (i) ground mounted towers, (ii) ground mounted antennas, or (iii) ground <br /> mounted towers with antennas, which are in excess of 50 feet in overall <br /> height, and the nearest lot line of a lot in any residenti district: <br /> Minimum Distance in Feet = 20(h-50) + 50 <br /> h = overall height of tower and antenna in feet <br /> 11-17 • <br />
