-2- <br /> Mr. <br /> 2-Mr. Connett 's request for signs until the type, number, and location of signs <br /> be specifically defined and then resubmitted. <br /> Upon motion by Mayor O'Connor seconded by Councilman Dougherty it was moved to <br /> approve the Planning Board's recommendations. <br /> All in favor. <br /> Mr. Walburg resubmitted a proposed plat of Lots 7 and 8, Blk 6, Mounds View Acres, <br /> 2nd Addition (two 115.66 X 269 ft. lots) into four 72.5 X 134.5 and two 86 X 134.5 <br /> foot lots. This preliminary plat was previously approved May 18, 1965 and October <br /> 15, 1962 for Gust Friedland, who is still the owner. The Board recommended the <br /> Council approve the preliminary plat granting 2.5 ft. frontage variance on the <br /> 72.5 foot lots and 4 ft. frontage variances on the 86 foot lots. <br /> Upon motion by Mayor O'Connor seconded by Councilman Dougherty it was moved to <br /> approve the Board's recommendation. <br /> Motion Carried. <br /> The Village Engineer, DeWayne Olson, reported on the status of the work on public <br /> improvements. He did not have all the necessary information but would have it <br /> for the next Council meeting on April 12, 1966. <br /> Ev Hamilton, Park Board Chairman, reported to the Council on the status of the <br /> • wading pool for Central Park. A discussion of the costs and merits of a circular <br /> vs rectangular pool followed. Councilman Bailey made a motion to advertise for <br /> bids for a circular pool . Councilman Springer seconded it. Councilman Dougherty <br /> asked to add an amendment to see ifthe�manager could negotiate a lower fee with <br /> Breuer. If not, the bids would not be advertised. Neither Councilman Bailey nor <br /> Councilman Springer would accept the amendment in their motion. Councilman <br /> Dougherty withdrew the amendment. <br /> Voting on the motion: <br /> Aye: Bailey, Sorenson, Springer <br /> Nay: Dougherty, O'Connor <br /> The motion Carried <br /> Councilman Sorenson introduced Resolution No. 66-025 and moved that it be adopted. <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 66-025 <br /> RESOLUTION FOR CONVEYANCE OF TAX FORFEIT PROPERTY. <br /> The resolution was duly seconded by Councilman Bailey. <br /> Voting on the Resolution: <br /> Aye: Dougherty, Springer, O'Connor, Sorenson, Bailey <br /> Nay: None <br /> The resolution was declared adopted. <br />
