Councilman Dougherty introduced Resolution No. 67-032 and moved that it be <br /> adopted. <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 67-032 <br /> RESOLUTION ORDERING 1967 STREET IMPROVEMENT ITEM #3s <br /> SILVER LANE FROM SILVER LAKE ROAD TO OAKW OOD DRIVE. <br /> The resolution was duly seconded by Councilman Springer. <br /> Voting on the resolution: <br /> Ayes O'Connor, Dougherty, Springer, Bailey, Sorenson <br /> Nay: None <br /> Resolution declared adopted. <br /> Item #6 Penrod Lane from 39th Avenue N.E. to Silver Lane was next introduced <br /> for discussion. DeWayne Olson, Village engineer, presented details of the <br /> proposed project and cost estimates as follows: <br /> Total cost - $8,045.00 <br /> • Assessable frontage 2488' <br /> Cost per front foot $3.23 <br /> The Mayor opened the matter for discussion. Gordon Hedlund property owner <br /> stated that he felt the present unimproved roadway was adequate for the amount <br /> of building that had taken place to date, and was opposed to the improvement. <br /> He further stated that he was the majority property owner affected qy the imp- <br /> rovement. Mrs. Chester Nelson stated that Mr. Hedlund was not the majority <br /> property owner citing several individuals owning property on Penrod Lane. <br /> She favored the project and urged the Council to order the improvement. She <br /> also stated that she represented several property owners not able to be present <br /> for the hearing. Mr. Hedlund stated that he felt the assessment not warranted. <br /> There being no further discussion, the Mayor decltrad this portion of the <br /> hearing closed. <br /> Councilman Dougherty introduced Resolution No. 67-033 and moved that it be <br /> adopted. <br /> RESOLUTION N0. 67-033 <br /> RESOLUTION ORDERING 1967 STREET IMPROVEMENT <br /> ITEM #4, PENROD LANE FROM 39th AVENUE N.E. <br /> TO SILVER LANE <br /> The resolution was duly seconded by Councilman Bailey. <br /> wVoting on the resolution: _ <br /> Aye: O'Connor, Dougherty, Springer, Bailey, Sorenson <br /> Nay: None <br /> Resolution declared adopted. <br />
