r <br /> -3- <br /> Mr. Benson next presented plans for a building for the C. G. Hill Company. <br /> He explained that the Company engaged in a machine shop operation and that part <br /> of the building would be sublet to another firm manufacturing bakery equipment. <br /> Mayor O' Connor moved and seconded by Councilman Dougherty that the plan for <br /> the C. G. Hill Company be approved presented. <br /> Motion.Carried. <br /> Mr. Daubney, attorney, representing Vadnais Construction Company, asked for <br /> the consideration of a special use rather than a change in zoning for his <br /> clients property described as Plat 63506, Parcel 1551. He stated that he <br /> had talked to Mr. Haik, Village Attorney, and that it was Ar. Haik's opinion <br /> that a change in zoning would be necessary. Mayor O'Connor noted that the <br /> Roseville and St. Anthony Planning Boards had agreed to hold the zoning at <br /> Light Industrial to facilitate the development of the joint boundary tracts. <br /> There being no further discussion, Councilman Springer moved and seconded by <br /> Councilman Dougherty that the Planning Board be direct to hold a public hearing <br /> on the rezoning of the above described property to consider the rezoning <br /> from Light Industrial to R3 multiple. <br /> Voting on the motion: <br /> Aye: Dougherty, Springer, Sorenson <br /> • Nay: O'Connor <br /> Absent not voting: Bailey <br /> Motion Carried. <br /> Preliminary plans were presented for the development of a 33 unit apartment <br /> complex on lots 5 and 6, Block 12, Moundsview Acres 2nd Addition. After <br /> discussion, Mayor O'Connor moved and seconded by Councilman Sorenson that <br /> the preliminary plans for a 33 unit apartment complex on lots 5 and 6, Block <br /> 12, Moundsview Acres 2nd Addition be approved subject to platting the property <br /> into a single tract. <br /> Motion Carried. <br /> The matter of the remodeling and expansion of Johnson's Greenhouse was tabled. <br /> /After discussion, Mayor O'Connor moved and seconded by Councilman Sorenson <br /> hat the plans for the addition to the Tous ley Car !-dash be approved as sub- <br /> mitted. <br /> Motion Carried. <br /> ter discussion, it was moved by Councilman Dougherty and seconded by Coun- <br /> cilman Springer it was moved that the preliminary plans for Arrow Precision <br /> Products Inc. building be approved as presented. <br /> Motion Carried. <br />
