-3- <br /> Motion by Councilman Springer and seconded by Councilman Crouse that the <br /> request to change the Conoco Sign at 37th Avenue N.E. and Silver Lake Road <br /> to read Mileage be approved. <br /> Voting on the motion: <br /> Aye: O'Connor, Springer, Crouse, Emond <br /> Nay: Dougherty <br /> Motion Carried. <br /> Motion by Councilman Springer and seconded by Councilman Crouse that the <br /> request to divide the East 4' of lot 16 and add to lot 15, Block 4, Wilshire <br /> Park 4th Addition be approved. <br /> Motion Carried. <br /> Mayor O' Connor moved and seconded by Councilman Dougherty that a temporary <br /> six months approval be given for the erection of a sign, 4' above grade and <br /> no more than 13' from front of building of the Pop Shop at 2550 Kenzie Terrace. <br /> Motion Carried. <br /> Motion by Mayor O'Connor and seconded by Councilman Crouse that the request <br /> to replace the "Pure" sign at 2700 Kenzie Terrace with "Union" be approved. <br /> Motion Carried. <br /> After discussion, Councilman Springer moved and seconded by Mayor O' Connor <br /> that the Planning Board be directed to hold a public hearing on the rezoning <br /> of the Sunset Memorial Cemetery property abutting County Road C from R-1 <br /> to Light Industrial. <br /> Motion Carried. <br /> The proposed Apache Plat was next considered. Mr. Stan Peikert explained <br /> the property designations as proposed. Mr. Peikert was informed that the <br /> outlots as shown would have to be replatted when the owners developed the <br /> property. Motion by Councilman Crouse and seconded by Councilman Dougherty <br /> that the preliminary plat of Apache Plaza be approved subject to the conveyance <br /> of a storm sewer easement serving the Arlan Department Store area. <br /> Motion Carried. <br /> A request by Albert Villella to construct a dwelling within 10' of the <br /> rear property line of lot 1, block 1 , Villella Addition was next considered. <br /> The Council was informed that the Village engineer required no storm sewer <br /> easement along the R.R. RAI for the construction of the District #4 Internal <br /> Storm Sewer system. <br /> • Councilman Springer moved and seconded by Mayor O'Connor that a variance to <br /> construct a residence within 10' of the rear property of lot 1, block 1 , <br /> Villella Addition be granted. <br /> Motion Carried. <br />
