E. <br /> Councilman Dougherty moved and seconded by Councilman Emond that the Village <br /> engineer be directed to prepare preliminary plans for the blocking off of the East <br /> end of 27th Avenue N. E. and the South end of Coolidge Street N. E. at Kenzie <br /> Terrace. <br /> Voting on the motions <br /> Ayes Dougherty, Emond. <br /> Nays O'Connor, Levandowski. <br /> • Motion not carried. <br /> A proposal for a 51 unit apartment on the Kenzie property was returned to the <br /> Planning Board for further information. <br /> Mr. William Flaherty asked that a motion be made to stop any further action by <br /> the Council on the full time Fire Department. <br /> Mayor O'Connor stated that nothing further would be done until a report is received <br /> by the attorney regarding the January 15, 1969 meeting. <br /> Motion by Councilman Dougherty and seconded by Councilman Levandowski that action <br /> be stopped on the organization of the full time department and if illegal, no <br /> action be taken until the next meeting. <br /> Voting on the motions <br /> Aye: Levandowski, Dougherty. <br /> Nay: O'Connor, Emond. <br /> Motion not carried. <br /> Mrs. Hobart Swan asked when the Village Council relinquished control of the Volunteer <br /> Fire Department. t•3ayor O'Connor answered December 23, 1968. <br /> • The Mayor cut off further discussion of the matter. <br /> Tractor bids were next considered. <br /> Mr. Flaherty questioned whether his petition would be properly cared for and not <br /> lost.
