-2- <br /> Voting <br /> 2-Voting on the motion: <br /> Aye: O'Connor, Emond, Dougherty, Levandowski . <br /> Nay: None. <br /> Absent not voting: Crouse. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> Motion by Councilman Emond and seconded by Councilman Dougherty that the sign <br /> request of the Apache Drug store be denied as recommended by the Planning Board. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> ,-After discussion of the plans for the Goodyear Service Center, motion by Councilman <br /> Dougherty and seconded by Councilman Emond that the development plans for the <br /> Goodyear Service Center be approved subject to the eight recommendations as set <br /> forth in the minutes of the Planning Board meeting of February 18, 1969, and that <br /> a variance not to exceed 260 sq. ft. in addition to the allowable 132 sq. ft. be <br /> granted for the erection of signs. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> Mr. Howitz reviewed the public hearing proceedings regarding the development of <br /> • property South of Silver Lane and adjacent to the Soo Line Railroad. The legal <br /> aspects of a zoning hold was discussed. The 1-ttorney pointed out that such <br /> action could only be sustained for the terms of an existing Council . <br /> The Village Manager was directed to forward letters to Lowry Avenue residents <br /> regarding easements for street R/W. <br /> The Village engineer was directed to review the 27th Avenue N. E. and Coolidge <br /> Street entrances on Kenzie Terrace and present plans for the exclusion of through <br /> traffic. <br /> Motion by Councilman Dougherty and seconded by Mayor O'Connor that the request <br /> for an 18' side yard variance be granted for an addition to a residence at 2700- <br /> 27th Avenue N. E. <br /> Voting on the motion: <br /> Aye: O'Connor, Dougherty, Levandowski. <br /> Nay: Emond. <br /> Absent not voting : Crouse. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> Councilman Dougherty introduced Resolution No. 69-011 and moved its adoption. <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 69-011 <br /> A RESOLUTION DIRECTING THE VILLAGE MANAGER TO <br /> ACQUIRE CERTAIN TAX FORFEIT PROPERTY. I <br />
