.n <br /> r <br /> -2- <br /> Voting <br /> 2-Voting on the resolution: <br /> Aye: Emond, Miedtke, Levandowski , Kukielka <br /> Nay: Norte <br /> Resolution declared adopted. <br /> Councilman Levandowski introduced Resolution #70-013 and moved its adoption. <br /> RESOLUTION #70-013 <br /> RESOLUTION RELATING TO THE APPORTION- <br /> MENT OF SPECIAL ASSESSMENTS FOR LOCAL <br /> IMPROVEMENTS <br /> The resolution was duly seconded by Councilman Emond. <br /> Voting on the resolution: <br /> Aye: Emond, Miedtke, Levandowski, Kukielka <br /> Nay: None <br /> Resolution declared adopted. <br /> A representative from the Jaycees presented a report on the cost, etc. of prep- <br /> aring the Village Handbook for review. <br /> Motion by Mayor Miedtke and seconded by Councilman Kukielka to authorize the <br /> Village Manager to pay $598.00 plus $107.00 toward the printing of 2500 Village <br /> Handbooks. <br /> Voting on the motion: <br /> Aye: Emond, Miedtke, Kukielka <br /> Nay: Levandowski <br /> Motion carried. <br /> Mr. Bernard Webber appeared and suggested giving some thought to an ordinance <br /> prohibiting private and commercial open burning. <br /> The Village Manager was directed to contact the League of Minnesota Municipalities <br /> to obtain copies of other municipalities ' ordinances regarding open burning. <br /> Mr. Wayne K. Leonard, Public Safety Director, appeared giving an evaluation report <br /> on the Police and Fire Departments, making recommendations for improvements and <br /> additions. <br /> The Mayor directed the Village Manager to make a space study and to make recomm- <br /> endations for expansion with approximate costs, etc. <br />
