d <br /> -2- <br /> The meeting was recessed at 7:55 P.M. and reconvened at 8:00 P.M. <br /> Public hearing on the vacation of a portion of Anthony Lane South in the office <br /> park was opened at 8:00 P.M. <br /> Mr. Dick Gay of Horizon Development Corporation presented the reasons for the <br /> vacation request and since no other speakers appeared for or against the proposal <br /> the hearing closed at 8:05 P.M. <br /> Motion by Councilman Sundland, seconded by Councilman Stauffer to adopt <br /> Resolution #74-013. <br /> RESOLUTION 74-013 <br /> RESOLUTION VACATING A PORTION OF <br /> ANTHONY LANE SCUM <br /> Motion carried. <br /> Motion by Councilman Sundland, seconded by Councilman Sauer to adopt a resolut- <br /> ion approving the final plat of St. Anthony Office Park subject to the conditions <br /> stated in the City Attorney's Memo regarding the plat being met and waiving the <br /> requirements of payment of taxes prior to the replat approval. <br /> RESOLUTION 74-014 <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING RFPIA TTING <br /> • ST. ANTHONY OFFICE PARK <br /> Motion carried. <br /> Mr. Gay expressed his gratitude for the aid the City Attorney and Engineer had <br /> given in the complicated process of replatting the office park. He also told <br /> the Council there was a possibility that four new industries would be locating <br /> in the park in the next year or so. <br /> Terry Hoffmann, 3616 Coolidge St. N.E. reported on his committee's efforts to <br /> contact New Brighton, Columbia Heights and Rice Creek Watershed officials re- <br /> garding their cooperation in the provisions contained in the proposed Wetlands <br /> Ordinance #73-003. He expressed the opinion that a meeting of St. Anthony <br /> Council members with officials of the other three governing bodies might be <br /> beneficial towards establishing a model ordinance which could be presented to the <br /> Department of Natural Resources. He also told of the difficulties the Jaycees <br /> had experienced in their efforts to obtain an analysis of Silver Lake from the <br /> PCA. <br /> Motion by Councilman Haik, seconded by Mayor Miedtke to have the revised ordinance <br /> put on the agenda and given a second reading at the next Council meeting <br /> February 25,1974• <br /> Motion carried. <br /> • Motion by Councilman Haik, seconded by Councilman Stauffer to thank Mr. Hoffmann <br /> and his committee for the time and effort they had devoted to working on the <br /> Wetlands Ordinance and to invite Mr. Hoffmann to attend the second reading of the <br /> ordinance at the next Council meeting. <br /> Motion carried. <br />
