He replied to Council questions by
• telling them that the only signage contemplated was that shown on
the plans for the front of the building; Apache had agreed to the
necessary curb cuts on the road they own in front of the property
and he felt his request included provision of enough stacking space
to serve the customers even on the busiest weekends of the year.
He pointed out the four methods designed into the plans to prevent
foreign materials from the car wash from entering the City's sewer
system. The developer said he felt his requirements for "good
housekeeping" would certainly be met by the proposed operators of
the car wash, Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Beutz of New Brighton. Hours of
operation will be from 7 :00 A.M. to 10 :00 P.M. during which time
there will be attendants on the property at least 70% of the time
especially during the busy hours of each day and almost constant
supervision provided over the weekends.
Motion by Councilman Stauffer and seconded by Councilman Sundland
- -to -grant approval of -the plans for a self service car wash to be
erected as proposed by C.
