There will be further staff study of how other <br /> communities of similar density have handled similar projects . The <br /> Council followed the Board recommendations in the following: <br /> Motion by Council Sauer and seconded by Councilman Sundland to adopt <br /> the resolution which approves the final platting of Hansen' s Silver <br /> Lake Addition. <br /> RESOLUTION 79-027 <br /> A RESOLUTION APPROVING HANSEN' S <br /> SILVER LAKE ADDITION PLAT <br /> Motion carried unanimously. <br /> The Board' s reaction to the Capital Expenditure Program for School <br /> District #282 was then reported by Mr. Jones. Councilman Sauer <br /> told of organizations who have approached the school district re- <br /> garding the purchase of the Silver Oak elementary building saying <br /> it is anticipated the sale will at least offset- the indebtedness <br /> of the building. He also reported it had been projected that all <br /> district students from Kindergarten through Grade Twelve can be <br /> housed in the high school building by 1982 . <br /> • At the conclusion of the Board report, Mr. Jones told of the success <br /> of the St. Anthony Biennial Ball which had netted the school band <br /> $500 . The advantages of making the event an annual one were ex- <br /> plored and the Mayor suggested tickets be sold on a block basis so <br /> more groups might be involved. Later in the evening the Manager <br /> was requested to prepare for the Mayor' s signature a thank you <br /> letter to the dance committee on behalf of the Council . <br /> The March 5 , 1979 minutes of the Chemical Abuse Information Committee <br /> meeting with the District #282 Health Council and other community <br /> representatives , as well as the agenda for the Committee' s April <br /> 24 , 1979 meeting, were ordered filed. <br /> Motion by Councilman Sundland and seconded by Councilman Letourneau <br /> to adopt the resolution which approves the transfer of $8 , 000 for <br /> Well No. 3 repairs. <br /> RESOLUTION 79-025 <br /> A RESOLUTION APPROPRIATING FUNDS <br /> FOR WELL NO. 3 REPAIRS <br /> Motion carried unanimously. <br /> The Mayor announced the formal planting of trees which have been <br /> donated to the City by its two garden and 4-H clubs . <br /> • <br />
