G. All exits shall be clearly marked and unobstructed at all times. Employees <br /> shall be familiar with all exits from work sites. <br /> H. Flammable liquids shall be kept in containers that meet OSHA specifications • <br /> q p <br /> when not actually in use. <br /> I. Flammable and combustible liquids shall be labeled and stored in <br /> appropriate storage areas according to OSHA NFPA guidelines. <br /> J. An employee shall report to his/her supervisor any potentially dangerous <br /> storage procedure of hazardous condition. <br /> K Gasoline shall be stored in approved safety gas cans. <br /> L Electrical equipment shall be kept properly oiled, and free of grease and <br /> dirt. <br /> M. Adequate lighting shall be provided in obscure areas to protect employees <br /> and the public. <br /> N. Extension cords shall not be used in oil or water and shall be inspected for <br /> worn insulation and exposed strands of wire before use. <br /> O. Signs should be posted in areas requiring specific personal safety • <br /> equipment. <br /> Scope: <br /> This standard applies to all City operations and work places. <br /> Definition and Limitation: <br /> Good housekeeping procedures are essentially the application of care and <br /> common sense.
