Planning Commission Regular Meeting Minutes <br /> November 15, 2011 <br /> Page 9 <br /> 1 <br /> 2 Motion by Commissioner Niccum, second by Commissioner Chaput, to recommend that the City <br /> 3 Council waive compliance with the platting requirements and approve subdivision by <br /> 4 conveyance of land by adoption of a resolution based on findings of fact that: <br /> 5 <br /> 6 a. Compliance with the platting requirements would create an unnecessary hardship or <br /> 7 expense because of the nature of the subdivision; and <br /> 8 b. Failure to require the filing of a plat does not interfere with the purposes of§ 151.08 of <br /> 9 the City's Zoning Code. <br /> 10 <br /> 11 Chair Jensen stated there are a number of different lot configurations in this block area with a <br /> 12 number of small areas as well as several substantially larger lots that have been rebuilt over the <br /> 13 last 10-12 years. <br /> 14 <br /> 15 Motion carried unanimously. <br /> 16 <br /> 17 IX. INFORMATION AND ANNOUNCEMENTS. <br /> 33 <br /> 34 Chair Jensen requested that staff provide a summary of building permit activity for the year as <br /> 35 well as an update on applications received for the Planning Commission positions. <br /> 36 <br /> 37 XIII.
