OTHER BUSINESS.
Mornson reported the HRA purchase of the KFC lot has been put on hold because the
owner did not like the purchase agreement provided by Dorsey and Whitney.
Mornson reported that he and the Police Chief visited the site of the old bowling alley,
which is now Consolidated Furniture, on Kenzie Terrace. There is a sign located on
the property which states it is a private lot and trespassers will be prosecuted. The
owner was requesting the City to patrol the lot and enforce the sign. The Public Works Director suggested a fence be installed. The owner indicated
he has put up a cable but people run it down. Also people from Walker on Kenzie
walk on the paved area. The owner stated he felt this was a public concern.
Mornson reported he and Councilmember Wagner will be looking at the lot.
Marks suggested a video camera be installed in the great hall of the City Hall to tape
events.
Chair Ranallo suggested a flag be mounted on the back wall and portable risers be
apurchased.
