Resolution 09-095, the 2010 Agreement between the City of St Anthony and <br />5 International Union of Operating Engineers Local 49 AFL -CIO Representin the he St <br />6 Anthony Public Works Department. <br />7 <br />8 City Manager Mornson provided an overview of Resolution No. 09 -095. The contract as <br />9 presented agrees to the following increases for 2010: Wages — 0 %; Insurance - $100 increase for <br />10 family coverage; Uniform Allowance — 0% increase. <br />11 <br />12 Motion by Councilmember Gray, seconded by Councilmember Thuesen, to adopt Resolution 09- <br />13 095; Ratifying the 2010 Agreement between the City of St. Anthony and International Union of <br />14 Operating Engineers, Local 49, AFL -CIO Representing the St. Anthony Public Works <br />15 Department. <br />16 <br />17 Motion carried unanimously. <br />18 <br />19 Mayor Faust requested City Manager Momson to pass on appreciation on behalf of the residents <br />20 and City Council to the above unions for their diligence in contract negotiations during the <br />21 current economic conditions. <br />22 <br />23 VII. REPORTS FROM CITY MANAGER AND COUNCIL MEMBERS. <br />24 <br />25 City Manager Mornson indicated that the December 22, 2009 regular City Council meeting is <br />26 not required if Council wishes to cancel the meeting. <br />27 <br />28 Motion by Councilmember Thuesen, seconded by Councilmember Stille, to cancel the December <br />29 22, 2009 City Council meeting. <br />30 <br />31 Motion carried unanimously. <br />32 <br />33 City Manager Mornson reported on the following: <br />34 • Thank you to the union stewards for their representation of the City during contract <br />35 negotiations. He noted many cities are offering zero increases, which a lot of unions have <br />36 not agreed. <br />37 • Thank you to Cable Operator, Kiel Rushton for his service. Tonight will be his last <br />38 meeting. <br />39 • He will begin his fourth year working with the Junior Achievement Program in the <br />40 spring. <br />41 <br />42 City Manager Morrison thanked Brian Thuesen for his 12 years of dedicated service on the City <br />43 Council. He stated Brian has taken a lot of time to know staff, and to know and study the issues. <br />44 He has been fair, consistent and dependable, and a great council member. <br />M <br />
