He inquired about possible issues with future property owners. <br />Commissioner Chaput stated there was discussion about natural elevations leading to the way the <br />property lines were drawn, as well as the discussion of Mr. Hayes desiring additional lakefront <br />access that follows the existing easement. <br />Councilmember Stille stated he feels comfortable that there was good representation at the <br />Planning Commission level. He pointed out that one of the Planning Commission members is a <br />planner that would have picked up on anything abnormal in the proposed lot subdivision. <br />Dr. Gary Good, 4024 Silver Lake Terrace, stated that the Hayes' lot does not have much of a <br />back yard with the way the house was put on the lot. If there is concern that the lot appears odd <br />as proposed, it was more so with just the easement and a tiny strip going to the lake. This <br />subdivision will widen the Hayes' shoreline to 16 feet, rather than just 10. It will also correct a <br />problem caused when he was not sure of the boundary line and paved about 7 feet on Mr. Hayes <br />property. <br />Mr. Hayes, 4020 Silver Lake Terrace, stated there has been plenty of speculation and rumors <br />about the easement. He spoke with the Ramsey County Assessor in 2002 who informed him that <br />the easement is deeded to he and his wife, and that two neighboring properties have access to the <br />easement. He does not believe it is a public easement, as it is deeded in he and his wife's names. <br />He pointed out that the easement is not part of this transaction. As far as the layout, it is <br />lakeshore and there are crazy designs with lakeshore property. <br />Motion by Councilmember Roth, seconded by Councilmember Gray, to adopt Resolution 08- <br />061; Approval of a Lot Subdivision of 3,062 square feet for 4024 Silver Lake Terrace. <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br />B. Resolution 08 -062, Approval of a Lot Subdivision of 337 square feet for 4020 Silver <br />Lake Terrace. <br />Motion by Councilmember Stille, seconded by Councilmember Gray, to adopt Resolution 08- <br />062; Approval of a Lot Subdivision of 337 square feet for 4020 Silver Lake Terrace. <br />GENERAL BUSINESS OF COUNCIL. <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br />
