Resolution 07 -076: Amending the Lease with St. Anthony -New Brighton School District <br />#282 Community Services. <br />City Manager Morrison presented Resolution 07 -076 and the summary of changes to Council. <br />He reported the lease cost would increase from $100,000 to $125,000. <br />Councilmember Gray commented that this resolution is an effort to reflect the actual costs of <br />providing this space to the School District #282. He stated it is spread out over a larger tax base <br />between St. Anthony and New Brighton. <br />Mayor Faust stated that 20 percent of the tax capacity for the school district comes out of New <br />Brighton. <br />Councilmember Stille commented he watched the school board meeting and indicated all board <br />members voted to approve the increase. <br />Motion by Councilmember Gray, seconded by Councilmember Stille, to approve Resolution 07- <br />076, a Resolution Amending the Lease Agreement with St. Anthony -New Brighton School <br />District #282 Community Services. <br />Motion carried unanimously (4/O) <br />VII. REPORTS FROM CITY MANAGER AND COUNCIL MEMBERS <br />City Manager Morrison reported the following items are proposed to be on the December 11, <br />2007 agenda: <br />- recommended changes to ordinances based on the recent re- codification process <br />- recommended updates to building code changes <br />- fire poster winner recognitions <br />- swearing in of a new police officer <br />- Fannie Mae Resolution <br />- a resolution to pay off a general obligation bonds <br />- an agreement with MWMO on the construction of the underground storage facility <br />- Council's decision on whether December 11, 2007 would be the last meeting for the year <br />City Manager Morrison reported that public works employee Annette Kirshbaum resigned to <br />relocate out of state. <br />
