2015 Annual Report • Administration • St. Anthony Village, Minnesota

26

LABORATORY OF LEARNING

With a strong commitment from the policy makers, staff and community, we have created a
win-win-win collorbation between local higher education institutions, college students and St.
Anthony. “Real life” hands-on experiences were created that produced innovation and new
ideas. Also as an added benfit, the St. Anthony staff were given a meaningful professional
development opportunity.
This success is rooted in three C’s: Collaboration, Culture and Commitment.
Collaboration – Working collaboratively is in our DNA. We understand that together we can
accomplish so much more than we often can on our own.
Culture – We have the passion, and drive to consider the financial, environmental and
social/cultural aspects in every decision that we make as staff and policy makers.
Commitment – We are committed to provide key resource staff from varying departments
throughout to provide background information, attend classes and provide guidance on
projects. The following are examples of this years collaborations.
