2015 Annual Report • Fire Department • St. Anthony Village, Minnesota

21 | Page

VI. Code Enforcement
During 2015 Code Enforcement had 238 complaints and\or
observed violations documented. Our process is one of both
proactive and complaint based. Residents can leave a message or
contact our inspector(s) directly to report a concern. Our
inspector will then review and investigate the issue and take
action if needed. The inspectors also drive the city looking for
violations or potential violations with the hope that a proactive
approach keeps us on top of problems. Vegetation (weeds and
long grass) continue to be our most common violation
documented in the housing code area.
In the rental inspections area, 190 documented inspections were performed in 2015. Our
inspector looks to make sure that properties are up to code and that the health, safety and
welfare of the tenants are met.

50%
7%
16%
8%
13%
6%
Vegetation
Miscellaneous
Parking Violation/Expired
Tabs
Signs
Structure/Yard Maintenance
Garbage/Refuse
