The concept behind the event is to <br />let kids and adults see, touch and interact with <br />Law Enforcement emergency service vehicles <br />and personnel. <br /> <br />Officer Kiel Rushton provided a tour of the <br />police department to several boy scouts and cub <br />scouts from the area. A finger print exercise was <br />conducted. <br /> <br />Officer Andy Kukowski attended the community center “fun fest” and was a “celebrity reader” <br />to kids. <br /> <br />November, Chief Ohl sat on a Police Chief’s panel and answered questions from a group of <br />League of Women Voters. Panel <br />participants included Ramsey <br />County Sheriff Bostrom, Chief <br />Rick Mathwig (Roseville) and <br />Chief Paul Schnell (Maplewood). <br /> <br /> <br />Officer Mike Huddle and Sgt. <br />Jon Mangseth were invited to <br />Mintahoe Catering by the <br />operations manager. A premise <br />survey and business security <br />assessment was conducted. Security recommendations were offered to the business identifying <br />specific vulnerabilities and concerns. General crime prevention topics were discussed. <br /> <br />December, Officer Mike Huddle <br />hosted two “Coffee with a Cop” <br />resident meetings at the Equinox <br />Apartment complex. Due to the <br />size of the complex, two events <br />took place. Each event was <br />attended by approximately one <br />dozen residents. Topics of <br />discussion covered organizing a <br />MN Night to Unite event in 2016, <br />information on the City's list <br />serve notification system,
