Record the annual number of times <br />streets are brush swept as well as document any additional <br />activities that were undertaken regarding this program. <br />This BMP will be continued into the new permit term and will be <br />completed annually. <br />Annual Inspection of All Structural Pollution Control <br />Devices <br />Inspect and document all structural pollution control devices a <br />minimum of once per year. <br />This BMP will be continued into the new permit term and will be <br />completed annually. <br />Inspection of a Minimum of 20% of the MS4 Outfalls, <br />Sediment Basins and Ponds Each Year on a Rotating <br />Basis. <br />The City will inspect all mapped outfalls, sediment basins, and <br />ponds a minimum of 20% each year (on a rotating schedule <br />during permit coverage) and record the number inspected, and <br />rate the condition of each outfall. <br />This BMP will be revised as stated below. <br />Inspection of All Exposed Stockpile, Storage, and <br />Material Handling Areas. <br />Locate and inspect all exposed stockpile, storage and material <br />handling areas located on City-owned properties, record <br />inspections, correct and document all remedial actions quarterly. <br />This BMP has been update to include a quarterly frequency for <br />inspection. <br />Inspection Follow-up, Including the Determination of <br />Whether Repair, Replacement, or Maintenance <br />Measures are Necessary and the Implementation of <br />the Corrective Measures. <br />The City will determine whether repair, replacement, or <br />maintenance measures are necessary from evaluating <br />inspections records and other pertinent information. All <br />corrective maintenance, repair, and/or replacement measures <br />will be recorded. <br /> <br />This BMP will be continued into the new permit term and will be <br />completed annually. <br />Record Reporting and Retention of All Inspections and <br />Responses to the Inspections <br />The City will retain all records of inspection, maintenance, and <br />corrective actions for a minimum period of three years past the <br />expiration of this permit. <br />This BMP will be continued into the new permit term. <br />Evaluation of Inspection Frequency Continue to implement annually. <br /> Landscaping & Lawn Care Practices Review <br />Continue to evaluate current practices of fertilizer, pesticide, and <br />herbicide application, mowing operations, grass clipping <br />collection, mulching, and composting. <br />This BMP will be continued into the new permit term and will be <br />completed annually. <br /> Road Salt Application Review <br />Continue to evaluate current practices of road salt applications, <br />alternative products, calibration of equipment, inspection of <br />vehicles and staff training. Minimum of one/year, annually. <br /> <br />This BMP will be continued into the new permit term. <br /> <br />BMP categories to be implemented Measurable goals and timeframes <br />Training <br />Provide a presentation annually to generate Staff awareness of <br />SWPPP regulations and to develop projects with appropriate <br />BMPs applied. <br />Inspection of the MS4 Outfalls, Sediment Basins and <br />Ponds <br />The City will inspect all mapped outfalls, sediment basins, and <br />ponds a minimum of once per permit term. The inspections will <br />be prioritized based on potential maintenance need. The <br />inspections will include recording the number inspected, <br />conditions, and if any illicit discharges were detected. <br />Spill Prevention & Control Plans for Municipal Facilities <br />Ensure that plans describing spill prevention and control <br />procedures are consistent among all departments.
