City Council Regular Meeting Minutes <br />February 13, 2018 <br />Page 4 <br />The savings to the City would be 4 -7% annually on energy savings. There are 240 lights to be <br />converted. The project should be completed by the end of February as it has already started. <br />Councilmember Stille reminded the residents this is an Xcel project rather than a City project. <br />Mr. Hartman stated the City received an award for the AOP Water Treatment plant. <br />Councilmember Jenson stated this project only took one and a half years to complete. Mayor Pro <br />Tern Gray thanked City Staff for their work on the AOP plant. <br />10 F. Snow and Ice Control Policies and Procedures. <br />12 Public Works Director Jay Hartman and Public Works Superintendent Jeremy Gumke presented <br />13 a power point reviewing St. Anthony Village Snow and Ice Control policies and procedures. <br />14 There are approximately 15 city -wide plowings done in a typical year. The procedures were <br />15 explained by Mr. Gumke in detail. Mr. Casey reviewed the public notification <br />16 <br />17 Councilmember Jenson asked when plowing starts and Mr. Gumke stated the trucks are deployed <br />18 about 30 minutes before the anticipated end of the snow event. The whole operation takes 4 -5 <br />19 hours. <br />20 <br />21 Councilmember Stille stated there was just a major event that kept going and going. Mr. Gumke <br />22 stated the January 16 was one of the largest snow events that occurred in many years. There were <br />23 two full city clean-ups done after that event. <br />24 <br />25 Mayor Pro Tern asked that this presentation be put on the website. Update on Sunday Liquor Sales. <br />29 <br />30 Liquor Operations Manager Mike Larson and Assistant Liquor Operations Manager Kevin <br />31 Morelli provided a power point presentation update of the Sunday Liquor Sales. <br />32 <br />33 Councilmember Stille stated the Sunday convenience sales are not a surprise. The stores are <br />34 profitable. The Sunday sales should continue to be monitored. <br />35 <br />36 H. Ways to Connect with Liquor Operations. <br />37 <br />38 Liquor Operations Manager Mike Larson and Assistant Liquor Operations Manager Kevin <br />39 Morelli provided a power point presentation showing Ways to Connect with St. Anthony Village <br />40 Liquor Operations.
