2017 Annual Report • Public Works Department • St. Anthony Village, Minnesota <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />5 <br /> <br /> <br />During 2017 the Water/Sewer Division completed the following <br />projects: <br /> Updating of utility record drawings and mapping into <br />the City GIS Program. <br /> Jetted the sanitary sewer main lines and inspected storm <br />sewer structures. <br /> Annual hydrant inspection, flushing and repair. <br /> Inspection and maintenance of the city’s water <br />distribution system and well pumps. <br /> Maintenance and repair of sanitary sewer lift station sites. <br /> 2016 CCR Report. <br />VEHICLE MAINTENANCE DIVISION <br />The Vehicle Maintenance Division (Fleet Maintenance) provides the necessary vehicle <br />maintenance and repairs all the City’s Public Works vehicles and equipment, which includes <br />both licensed and non-licensed equipment. In addition, the division supports the Police and Fire <br />Department with their maintenance needs. The City’s existing Vehicle Maintenance Division <br />staff is trained and licensed to certify all vehicles in the fleet to meet DOT standards and pass <br />inspections on an annual basis. <br />The Maintenance Division assists in the purchase and specification process when replacing <br />capital equipment for the Public Works Department. It has always been the goal of this division <br />to provide the necessary service and repair of all City owned equipment in a manner which is <br />competitive with outside service alternatives. <br />The Public Works capital equipment purchases included as <br />follows: <br /> 2017 Parks Maintenance Division F-250 Pickup <br />Truck <br /> 2017 Streets Maintenance Division F-350 Pickup <br />Truck with Lift Gate and Arrow Board <br /> 2017 Street Maintenance Division Bobcat Skidsteer <br />Replacement Program
