Ramsey County will be awaiting completion of MnPass before making 2 <br />any improvements to county or city roads in St. Anthony. District 2 Contact 4 <br />Information was provided 651-266-8359 district2@co.ramsey.mn.us. 5 <br /> 6 <br />Councilmember Stille thanked Commissioner McGuire for her update. He referred to the 7 <br />Community Engagement information and encouraged the students to contact her office. 8 <br />Councilmember Stille suggested Commissioner McGuire contact Wendy Webster regarding the 9 <br />Pritzker Children’s Impact Network. Councilmember Stille thanked her for the work on County 10 <br />Road C. 11 <br /> 12 <br />Councilmember Jenson referred to the contact information and asked if residents were wanting 13 <br />volunteer opportunities would that be how residents should contact Ramsey County. 14 <br /> 15 <br />Mayor Faust suggested the work on County Road C be consolidated with Hennepin County and 16 <br />Commissioner Higgins. A two-year plan was done last week by Council and staff on road 17 <br />construction. Mayor Faust thanked Commissioner McGuire for her comments. 18 <br /> 19 <br />III. CONSENT AGENDA. 20 <br /> 21 <br />A. Approval of September 11, 2018, City Council Meeting Minutes. 22 <br />B. Licenses and Permits. 23 <br />C. Claims. 24 <br /> 25 <br />Motion by Councilmember Jenson, seconded by Councilmember Stille, to approve the Consent 26 <br />Agenda items. 27 <br /> 28 <br />Motion carried 5-0. 29 <br /> 30 <br />IV. PUBLIC HEARINGS – NONE. 31 <br /> 32 <br />V. REPORTS FROM COMMISSION AND STAFF – NONE. 33 <br /> 34 <br />VI. GENERAL BUSINESS OF COUNCIL. 35 <br /> 36 <br />A. Fire Prevention Presentation. 37 <br /> 38 <br />Assistant Fire Chief/Fire Marshal Chris Fuller provided a power point presentation on St. 39 <br />Anthony Fire Department Fire Prevention. He provided Updates, Fire Fatalities in Minnesota, 40 <br />Alarming Statistics 2017 Fatal Fires, Smoke Alarms Save Lives, Carbon Monoxide Alarms – 41 <br />“CO”, and provided contact information for those interested in either a Home Safety Survey, File 42 <br />of Life, Fire Safety Presentation or any Questions.
